  Wow, my favorite part comes at 2:05:

  Fox News: “McCain had a great line about you, he said, have you met the governor’s husband? you know what he said right? He said, ‘Todd Palin is insane,’ and he laughed, did you see that, you didn’t see that?”

  First Dude: “No, I don’t think so.”

  Fox News (struggling): “You would have loved it because (stutter) it was a great line.”

  First Dude: “Well…. you know.”

  Uh, wow again. I pray to god that man does not become first dude.

  Countdown until Jeff Bridges denounces Todd Palin’s “first dude” nickname begins … now.

  I should probably already have done a blog post about this, but how amazing is it how at every single major Republican event or speech or convention they play some awesome American rock ‘n roll song to get the 50-year-old upper-middle-class people all fired up, and then the next day, like fucking clockwork, the band that played that song comes out with a press release saying “we are appalled that [Republican politician X] used our song at his event. We denounce the genocide in [Neocon war target Y] that [Republican politician X] has paved the way for and we are voting for Obama.”

  If only I had a blog.

  Kind of irritating that they never actually sue the candidate for using the shit. Like Heart not suing McCain’s campaign despite them continuing to use Barracuda after multiple warnings not to do so.

  Dear Fans,

  We are appalled that the McCain campaign used our song “Fucked with a Knife” at their recent political rally. We would like to be clear to our fans that we do not support the views of John McCain and do not believe him or Governor Palin to be qualified to fuck anyone with a knife.
