THE DEEPA: Yes.
SHARK (looking up): If I were to put this book in front of Stove and Ed, how long would it take for one of them to say “Taming of the Jew” and who would say it first.
THE DEEPA: Seconds. Ed.
This last Saturday, early stages of the Gough-tel housewarming BBQ. Ed and Stove are sitting at the living room table.
THE DEEPA (aside to Shark): This is your chance.
SHARK: Oh, yeah.
Shark casually places The Taming of the Shrew on the living room table. Stove and Ed look blankly at the book.
PATSY: Mark, no one is interested in your Shakespeare bullshit.
Two seconds pass.
ED: Taming of the Jew.
Shark laughs, falls to the floor.
