That headline is the title of this incredible article from Rolling Stone. It’s an eye-opening read for anyone not super familiar with the ins and outs of how the WOD has been utterly mismanaged since its inception (which, I’m guessing, is everyone reading this).
It’s not just a “Hey, the WOD is a waste of money!” kind of article; it’s more of a “Hey, this is why the WOD is not only a waste of money but a complete farce that has done more harm than good” kind of article.
I would definitely consider this required reading for anyone who has even a passing interest in the politics of drugs in this country.

That article was awesome, thanks. Comprehensive and informative. It brings to light a lot of the arguments I’ve heard against the war on drugs and all its failures. Drugs!
