So I went on two dates this week: one on Wednesday night, one on Thursday.
Wednesday: Meh. Not necessarily bad. Just meh. The night got off to an inauspicious start when she insisted that McIntosh apples were spelled Macintosh. What was I supposed to do? Just let that stand?? And so yeah, that was probably the […]

The Jo-Tel Doing Normal Activities: Cleaning the Refrigerator
February 28th, 2008 · 3 Comments
Yes, even we at the Jo-Tel clean every once in a while. Sometimes, we'll let the maid go home early and we'll get our hands dirty and do things that normal everyday people do, like "Going to Work", and "Eating Yummy Carbs", and in this case "Cleaning out the Refrigerator".

No One, Not Even the Rain, Has Such Bad Hair
February 26th, 2008 · No Comments

Quote of the Week 2.25.08
February 25th, 2008 · 3 Comments
Russian Futurist Vladimir Mayakovsky:
So what if a statue of me grows out from a big big rose in a square where whores with rough trade and the clap spit pa-tooey! I’ve had every kind of bullshit up to here! Give me one love song: They’re nice and they get the money. Anyway I […]

The Jo-tel Is Sick
February 23rd, 2008 · 3 Comments
Everyone at the Jo-tel and most of our Friends and Fambly are either sick, immediately recovering from sickness, or using saved up white blood cells to fend off some illness that has already entered our body. Every drink of booze, every late night results in someone phoning in sick to the afternoon-after day-trip to […]

The Jack Off
February 22nd, 2008 · 13 Comments
Yesterday after a couple tall German beers at Soupenkuchen, the idea for The Jack Off seemed impossibly awesome to me. Now, sober and at work the next morning, in the cold hard light of reason … IT STILL SEEMS AWESOME. There will be (ideally) five or six participants, along with a small throng […]
