The results of the third annual indie rock draft are motherfucking in. In a surprise turn of events Shark is dethroned for the first year ever!! Just kidding I won again. PETE came in second, usurping Johnny D’s perennially second place role. In Johnny D’s defense, his time is unoccupied these days by things like making his own art (the album Waterless Sky) as opposed to following other people’s appreciation of other people’s art, which is a deciding less noble and less productive endeavor– but curiously fun nonetheless. And he did come in fourth behind Patsy, so none to unrespectable. Scraps-player BMK12000 managed to not get last, which was an accomplishment in itself. Last place was dominated by Shannon, who scored 0 points. Better luck next time, Shannon!
Here is. The final order:
Shark 563
PETE 411
Patsy 331
Johnny D 317
Hip E. 231
Reid 130
Thrill 116
Sosia 66
BMK12000 30
Shannon 0
Here are. The top scoring bands:

How’d someone get a zero?
Shark, you read “The Final Superstition” by Joseph Daleiden, yet?

Mike B, it’s out of print and costs like $150 for some reason.

Nope. Haven’t heard of it. If it’s new, keep in mind that I have a less than serviceable knowledge of current literature.

What can I say, I shot the moon. Unfortunately the Year-End “Indie” “Rock” Fantasy League Draft is not a game of Hearts.
